Everything about Heather’s experience with Wavestage has been positive, from the initial audition with Sarah Langford, the weekly classes and cast rehearsals, to the way they communicate with parents. She really feels she is being given the resources and the theatrical education to help her feel confident and prepared for her challenging roles.

Cassidy has a new joy that comes directly from her classes and rehearsals with your company. We are enjoying watching our daughters self-confidence and skills grow. Sarah has a unique ability to bring out not only each participant’s individual talent, but in the short time she sees them each week, she also seems to assess exactly what makes each child tick.

With it having been Ciara’s first big show we had no clue what to expect. All the young people with such talent and courage blew us away. Ciara was made to feel so welcomed and embraced by all of the performers, crew and stage helpers. I felt the same by the parents I had the pleasure of getting to know backstage and the whole Wavestage crew. I’m thrilled we made the move the Wavestage and I honestly can’t wait to watch Ciara grow and embrace her next role all while being in the presence of such fantastically talented people.
— Shelly Hall, Parent
Sam has received training in voice, dance, and performing in front of a live audience – plus all of the backstage workings that make a production come to life. She has been given the opportunity to grow as a performer alongside a group of people she considers a second family.
— Debbie Robinson, Parent
Wavestage provided me with my first ballet, jazz, and tap lessons. It sprung me into the wonderful world of theatre and initiated my transformation from an amateur performer into a serious, professional artist.

I can’t even imagine how different my life would be if I hadn’t joined Wavestage six years ago. I have grown up surrounded by passionate, empathetic, likeminded people and they have truly shaped me into the person I am today. I have made lifelong friends who I know will always have my back. I am forever grateful to my wonderful director Sarah Langford for continuing to give me opportunities and inspiring me to become a better performer and person. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a special family.
