A Note From The Artistic Director

What a great way to start 2019 with this wonderful news. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Special thanks to the all the actors who work so hard to achieve excellence on stage and raise far beyond the label of “Community Theatre”. Thanks to the crew of Wavestage Theatre who volunteer behind the scenes. Thanks to our friends, advertisers and donors, who continue to attend our productions and took the time to vote for us as Best Community Theatre and for The Hunchback of Notre Dame as Best Community Theatre Production. 

We thank you for supporting Wavestage’s efforts to ensure that actors from all over the region continue to have access to great arts education and quality community theatre. We love producing quality live theatre and are thankful that audiences take the time to enjoy our productions as we continue to explore our culture of creativity into our 25th Season. We encourage you to join us at our final 24th Season production, Cabaret, at Newmarket Theatre April 11-15, 2019  and at our opening 25th season production - Godspell at George Ignatieff Theatre in Toronto, June 20-23 2019 (tickets on sale January 16).
