Into the Woods comes to Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts from July 9-12, 2015! We are thrilled to be producing this enchanting show with such a supremely talented cast and creative team. Into the Woods takes place in a fairytale kingdom where, once upon a time, a baker and his wife were sent on a quest by a mysterious witch. Thrust into a world of magic and adventure, they find their story intertwined with a group of legendary characters including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and a young man named Jack (of beanstalk fame). It’s a magical musical full of witches, wolves, giants and mysterious strangers, where all fairy tales get tangled up together. Sondheim’s brilliant lyrics and gorgeous music, paired with Lapine’s captivating book, make this Tony Award-winning Broadway musical about wishes, chasing your dreams, and the importance of the stories we tell our children both magical and deeply touching.
