Our Mission
For 28 thrilling seasons, we’ve provided over 130 high quality theatrical performances to audiences throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We aim to offer performance opportunities to performers of all ages and levels of experience. Since our first season, over 3500 people have performed with Wavestage Theatre Company. We hold open auditions for company members every season and accept private audition requests throughout the year.
Our educational mandate includes providing opportunities for performers at all levels to learn, grow, and enhance their skills in a supportive, nurturing and creative environment. Wavestage is committed to promoting excellence in every aspect of stagecraft, from performance to technical production. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, we aim to nurture artists who are confident, skilled, and passionate about bringing high-quality theatre to the community.

ABOUT THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Sarah has has performed in leading operatic roles across Europe and North America and has been a guest soloist for the Vatican. Sarah holds degrees in Psychology, Voice Performance, Voice Pedagogy and Operatic Performance. Sarah is a recipient of the Celebration of Women Performance Award, a three time winner of the Johnson Cultural Achievement Award, as well as the recipient of numerous civic awards for her contributions to the arts in the GTA.
