A Christmas Carol Youth Performance at Newmarket Old Town Hall

On Sunday, December 3, the students of our Youth Performance Academy presented a black box performance of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol at Newmarket's Old Town Hall. The young performers had been rehearsing since September; weekly practices furthered their skills in dance, singing, and acting. 

We are immensely proud of the journey each student took to deliver their beautiful performances in A Christmas Carol. Students overcame stage fright, developed comedic timing, and learned lines and choreography. They explored solos as well as ensemble singing, and challenged themselves to reach new heights. We can't wait to see what they do next - you might just see a few of them in our MainStage production of Beauty and the Beast this April!
