Into the Woods Table Read

Into the Woods comes to Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts from July 9-12, 2015! We are thrilled to be producing this enchanting show with such a supremely talented cast and creative team. Into the Woods takes place in a fairytale kingdom where, once upon a time, a baker and his wife were sent on a quest by a mysterious witch. Thrust into a world of magic and adventure, they find their story intertwined with a group of legendary characters including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and a young man named Jack (of beanstalk fame). It’s a magical musical full of witches, wolves, giants and mysterious strangers, where all fairy tales get tangled up together. "The Wavestage Follies production was mesmerizing! Outstanding performances, interesting choreography, evenly flowing production and passionately performed by a strong cast. Special mention to James Woods for richly grasping the text and to Sarah Langford for allowing the audience to see and experience a broken Sally. Beautiful voice; passionate singing. The Pastiche number of One More Kiss brought tears to my eyes. Magical. Congrats to the entire team." - Fred Barrows, Montreal stage director

This production will be at Newmarket Theatre from January 30 - February 1. Tickets are available online at www.newtix.ca, 905.953.5122, or in person at the box office before the performance.
