Show week is upon us! We open our production of Gypsy this Friday, April 22nd and run until the 24th. Everything’s coming up roses with this classic musical based upon the autobiography of striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee. Gypsy centres upon Mama Rose, the consummate stage mother who prods and pushes her daughters June and Louise into a vaudeville career at any cost in order to fulfill the dream of stardom she never achieved herself.

She is a 12 year alumni of Wavestage's triple threat youth programs. Over her many years with Wavestage, she's performed in everything from ensemble roles to featured dance roles to leads. Kyla has been an assistant counsellor for Showbiz Academy and has spent countless hours behind the scenes painting sets, learning sound operation skills, and more.
